​​​​​​• Carl Erskine pitched for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers from 1948 - 1959.

• In 1953 The Dodgers had a 20 win season with Carl leading the league with  .769  winning percentage, along with 187 strikeouts and 16 complete games!

• In 1953 he held a World Series record for 10 years with 14 strikeouts in one game. It was finally broken in 1963 by Sandy Koufax with 15 strikeouts. 

• National League Allstar in 1954

• 1955 World Series Champion

• Pitched 2 career no hitters: June 19, 1952 vs Cubs, May 12, 1956 vs Giants

 • Won 5 National League Pennants

 • Appeared in 11 World Series Games (1949, 52, 53, 55, 56)

 • Played with Major League Baseball greats such as Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Gill Hodges, Carl Furillo, Sandy Koufax, Don Newcombe, Preacher Roe, Clem Labine, George Shuba, Dixie Howell, Don Drysdale, Johnny Podres and Don Zimmer.

Legendary Dodgers Pitcher Carl Erskine provided autographs at our April 18th, 2015 North Show.

We felt so fortunate to have him share his time with all of his fans, young and old. He is a great guy and was so friendly to everyone! Also, 100% of the proceeds on the sale of his signed books went to the Special Olympics, an organization close to his heart. Indiana Pacers player, Glenn Robinson III signed autographs for the J&J Allstar Sportscards Show on July 23rd, 2016. 

* This Gary, IN native stands 6'7 tall and weighs 222 lbs.

* Played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines for 2 years before declaring for the 2013/14 NBA draft.

* Originally drafted to the Minnesota Timberwolves, he went on to play for the Philadelphia 76ers before coming home to Indiana and joining the Indiana Pacers.

* His father is NBA veteran Glenn Robinson.
